Extracurricular Activities

At Diyar Private Academy, Fujairah we believe that learning does not occur only in the classroom. We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities to help cultivate students’ individual interests and talents. Students’ social skills are developed from participation is afterschool clubs. Clubs are run by staff and are an opportunity for teachers to share their interests and skills with students. Extracurricular activities ensure that students experience amazing learning.

Music Program

Music is offered to all Diyar Private Academy, Fujairah students in our Elementary School. Students in Grades 11 and 12 can take music as an elective class. The experience of music at Diyar Private Academy, Fujairah is rewarding for our students as they engage in high quality musical experiences focusing on both enjoyment and excellence. The school has several music rooms, fully resourced with a wide range of musical instruments and accessible to students all the time. Students are invited to participate in the different bands that practice every break time, which builds their confidence. To develop their confidence, multiple performance opportunities are provided through assemblies, talent shows, international competitions and other school events.

Physical Education/Sport Program

Our Physical Education program encourages students to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle, and to develop their physical abilities to their full potential. We believe every student should have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities, both competitive and individual. We believe physical activity develops important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and perseverance.

Our curriculum is structured around 5 domains. These domains aim to improve the health, lifestyle, and understanding of each student. Our program also includes extracurricular activities such as swimming and soccer. We also organize internal and external sports events, such as

  • Aqua Swimming Competition for Girls
  • MS & HS Soccer Competition for Boys and Girls
  • St. Mary's Tournament of Football.

Our program aims to promote health and wellbeing through sport and provide opportunities for competitive sport. We identify and support those students who have the talent and ability to progress in their chosen sport. We strive to create a supportive and motivating environment where students amaze themselves with their physical skills.
