Our House System is a unique aspect of our school that fosters a sense of community and healthy competition among our students, staff, and parents. We have four houses at Diyar Private Academy – Falcon (red), Oryx (blue), Leopard (green), and Gazelle (yellow).
Every member of our Diyar community, including staff and students, belongs to one of our four houses. The House System is led by a House Champion, a staff member passionate about student success and dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the House.
Our House System provides a fun and engaging way for our students to showcase their leadership skills and teamwork abilities. Students (and staff) earn house points for displaying a high standard of school expectations in their everyday dealings with each other. For example, working collaboratively in class, cleaning the playground without being asked, presenting an innovative project, displaying outstanding behavior, suggesting ways to improve our school, participation in various school competitions, being kind and considerate to each other, and the list goes on. Then at the end of each week the winning House is announced at assemblies across the school.
