Adam McDonald brings more than 26 years of experience in education, with leadership roles in both the United States and Egypt. Throughout his career, he has served as a High School Principal, Head of School, Head of Teaching and Learning, Associate Principal, and Dean of Students, leading initiatives focused on academic excellence, school improvement, student wellbeing, and building strong school communities.
Adam is passionate about supporting the growth and development of teachers and leaders, fostering collaborative teams, and creating positive learning environments where every student can thrive. He has extensive experience leading strategic school improvement initiatives, supporting accreditation processes, using data to improve student outcomes, and working closely with students, families, and staff to build a culture of excellence.
Originally from Minnesota in the United States, Adam enjoys exploring new cultures and connecting with people from around the world. Outside of school, he loves staying active through water sports, hiking, and fitness. He is also a music enthusiast who enjoys attending live performances and traveling whenever he has the opportunity. Adam is excited to join the school community and looks forward to partnering with students, families, and colleagues to make this an exceptional year.
